Position: A/R and Account Support Representative
Department: Operations
Location: New jersey
Reports to: Branch Manager


Description
Haig Service is a single-source provider of Life Safety Systems Solutions.   Our goal is to be in 100 markets globally. Our IT Department is critical in reaching this goal.

A Developer must be independent and have excellent interpersonal, organizational and presentation skills. He must also be comfortable with taking on multi- tasks and responsibilities.

Primary Responsibilities:

Accounts Receivable

Responsibilities will include collections, invoicing, cash applications, credit requests and ensuring customer’s accounts are invoiced accurately.

  • Collection of delinquent accounts
  • Maintaining accuracy of aging balances
  • Working with credits, account discrepancies and any other inconsistencies
  • Responsible for the accuracy, efficiency and timeliness of customer invoicing
  • Cash Application – posting receivables and following on discrepancies
  • Receipt and return of Purchase Orders and ensuring they are in Sedona and tracked properly
  • Invoice preparation
  • Compiling information for reports
  • Preparing and reporting on aging

Account Support

Responsibilities will include ensuring all information is received and maintained on customers, set up including jobs and recurring is accurate in Sedona and customers are maintained properly

  • New customers are accurately input in Sedona
  • Jobs are properly input, invoiced and closed
  • Recurring is accurate
  • Documents and files are maintained including contract, monitoring forms and other documentation
  • Renewal information is completed and sent
  • Customer requests including cancellations, account changes, etc are processed, filed and maintained in a timely manner

Other Customer Support

Responsibilities include any other office and customer support including answering phones, processing customer request and assisting with sales, service and installation issues.

Skills:
  • Microsoft Office
  • Customer Interaction
  • Finance/Accounting experience
  • Experience with Quickbooks a plus
  • Construction or Service Industry Experience a plus
Requirements:
  • High school degree, college degree a plus
  • 1 + years experience
