Description

Haig Service is a single-source provider of Fire and Security installation, service, and monitoring services.  Our goal is to be in 100 markets globally.  Our Account Executives are critical in reaching this goal.

A Haig Service Account Executive must be entrepreneurial, independent, determined and professional. In addition, the right candidate will have excellent interpersonal, organizational and presentation skills.

The selected individual will be responsible for all sales activities, from lead generation through sale closing. The individual must implement agreed upon sales plan to meet both personal and business goals of expanding Haig Service’s customer base, while achieving customer satisfaction, generating recurring revenue, and developing long-term business relationships in line with Haig Service’s vision and values.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform identification, pursuit, and sales of opportunities for Recurring Monthly Services (maintenance, monitoring, and Test & Inspection).
  • Complete the sale of fire alarm systems and upgrades supporting recurring service customers.
  • Develop annual sales plan in conjunction with General Manager.
  • Demonstrate technical selling skills and product knowledge.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of local ordinances and national Fire Codes.
  • Outline activities to follow during the next year, which focuses on meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Maintain active Sales Pipeline to equal 3x sales quota.
  • Complete understanding of all Company sales pricing Worksheets and company Contract Terms.
  • Demonstrates the ability to carry on a business conversation with business owners, management companies and decision makers.
  • Develops a database of qualified leads through referrals, face to face cold calling, and professional business networking.
  • Creates and conducts effective proposal presentations, identifying the prospect’s fire and life safety issues, the effects of the problems, and solutions offered by Haig Service.
  • Maintains accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities.
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.
Requirements
  • 2-5 years of experience in sales in the fire alarm industry.
  • Working knowledge of Notifier and FCI products a plus.
  • Ability to sell at high levels within Fortune 1000 companies
  • Proven ability to achieve sales quotas.
  • Available for local travel and holds valid driver's license
Compensation
  • Base Salary plus Commissions as outlined in Sales Commission Program
